PreparedHealth is thrilled to be listed as one of four finalists in Vizient’s sixth annual Innovation Challenge, an event designed to highlight the best new ideas in healthcare today. The Innovation Challenge will be held on Oct. 3 at 3:45 p.m. as part of the opening general session for the 2018 Vizient Connections Summit to be held at The Wynn in Las Vegas.

The Innovation Challenge is an interactive pitch competition that offers a unique opportunity for health care startup companies who are revenue producing and have market traction but still in the early growth stages of their business. The final contestants will go head-to-head before answering questions from an expert panel that includes two CEOs from Vizient member hospitals, an investor and Vizient’s President and CEO Byron Jobe. The winner will be selected by a live audience, made up of roughly 2,000 health care professionals attending the 2018 Vizient Fall Connections Summit. Learn more about the competition.

“We are honored to participate in Vizient’s Innovation Challenge, presenting Prepared Health alongside some of the most innovative companies in healthcare. Healthcare has a bright future and we’re proud to be on the leading edge,” said Ashish V. Shah, CEO and Co-Founder of PreparedHealth.

“We are excited about the companies competing in this year’s Innovation Challenge. This competition is an entertaining and interactive way to bring some of the newest and smartest technology to our members and to also raise awareness of these companies who are working on solutions that help improve patient care,” said Bharat Sundaram, president, analytics and advisory services for Vizient.
